Welcome to Kedai Buku UTeM. University Press provides services available on this site subject to the following terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”). By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions herein contained:-

  1. Definitions
   
  “Customer” means buyers who purchase any Products from this site
  “Intellectual Property” means all rights in relation to inventions (including patents), registered and unregistered trademarks (including service marks), copyright, circuit layouts, registrable designs, registrable plant varieties, processes, know- how and confidential information in the industrial, scientific and artistic fields including application or right to apply for registration of any of those rights
  “ISBN” means International Serial Book Number which usually appear at the back of the Products.
  “ISSN” means International Standard Serial Number which usually appear at the back of the Products
  “Products” means all types of books describe in this site.
  2. Privacy
   
2.1 Please read our Terms and Conditions before using this site. University Press is responsible to protect your privacy regarding all information retrieved from this site. The information retrieved is strictly to be used by us for promotional of our Products. Please contact us if you’d like to remove your mailing address from our list.
2.2 The use of this site is govern by existing law, rules, regulation and circulars enforceable in Malaysia and may change from time to time without prior notice. We shall not be responsible for any misuse, misunderstanding or misappropriate of this site by third party.
  3. Accuracy of Information
   

All information describe in this site is accurate until updated from time to time. The description of our Products shown on this site might be different from what we have delivered to you depending on the availability of the Products.

  4. Acceptance of Order
   

The receipt of an e-mail of confirmation of purchase does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. University Press reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any Products or refuse to sell the Products to Customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

  5. Delivery of Products
   
5.1 The Products will be delivered to Customer within ten (10) days upon receipt of payment as follows:-
 
i) credit card – upon clearance of credit card
ii) bank draft – upon clearance of bank draft.
iii) cheque – upon clearance of cheque
iv) telegraphic transfer (T.T) – upon clearance of telegraphic transfer.
5.2 The price shown shall not include the courier fee. Customer shall bear the courier fee of each purchase of Products.
5.3 Upon receipt of payment as stated in Clause 5.1 above, Customer shall not terminate the Purchase of the Products.
5.4 Customer shall inform the University Press if the Products delivered is damaged or faulty (tear, blank page or uncompleted page) via phone or e-mail, Tel-+606-270 1241, email - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within ten (10) days upon receipt of the Products by giving the ISBN or ISSN no. of the Products and Purchase Order no.
5.5 Customer may return the damage or faulty Products to University Press at it’s own cost and expense.
  6. Intellectual property
   

All content available on this site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations and software, and the compilation thereof (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Content”) is the property of University Press, our affiliates, partners or licensors and is protected by copyright laws.

  7. Force Majeure
   
7.1 University Press shall not be responsible if it is unable to perform or fulfill any of its obligations hereunder as a result of the occurrence of an Event of Force Majeure. The expression of ‘Event of Force Majeure’ shall include:-
     
 
i) War, hostilities, invasions, act of foreign enemies, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, civil war or terrorism;
ii) Ionizing, radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear waste, from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive, or other hazardous property of any explosive, nuclear assembly or nuclear component thereof;
iii) Pressure waves caused by aircraft or other aerial devices travelling at sonic or supersonic speeds;
iv) Natural catastrophe including but not limited to earthquakes, flood and subsidence, lightning exceptionally inclement weather; and
v) Riot and disorder, criminal damages, sabotages, strikes, lockout, labour unrest or other industrial disturbance affecting the performance of this Agreement which are not the fault of the Vendor or its contractors.
   

PROVIDED THAT the Event of Force Majeure shall not include economic downturn, non-availability or insufficiency of funds or lack of financing to carry out its obligations.

  8. Disclaimer
   
8.1 No information or material provided in this site shall be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system in any form of means, including electronic, photocopying, recording or otherwise without the prior consent of University Press.
8.2 University Press has made every effort to ensure that all information is up-to-date and correct at all time. We cannot take any responsibility for any incorrect information or material published on this site.
